COVID-19 Information: Reduced ticket contingent 2021

Elīna Garanča - a voice of hope and confidence

"Hope and confidence" is the motto for the programme Elīna Garanča is putting together with her husband and artistic director, Karel Mark Chichon, for Klassik in den Alpen 2021. The two are already working on it. It will be a programme that takes account the special situation and will be charged with joie de vivre and positive energy.

As organisers, we are also confident and hopeful about the Klassik Open Air Sommer 2021, naturally with a responsibility for the audience and the artists. However, we have realistic expectations regarding the organisational realisation of Klassik in den Alpen in Kitzbühel.

One consequence of this is that, in accordance with our prevention concept, we have started advance sales with a reduced ticket contingent (adjusted capacity). Seating will be allocated according to a chessboard concept, thus ensuring that visitors who order together will be seated together and that seats will be empty afterwards. The last contingent of tickets will only be released when the situation allows.

Tickets for Klassik in den Alpen have already gone on sale. Secure your ticket here now!

We look forward to an unforgettable evening on 10 July 2021 in Kitzbühel!

The Concert

Atmospheric evening in a magnificent environment

The regular audience of “Classic in the Alps” has long appreciated the special charm and flair of the event: a wonderfully lit open-air stage in the middle of the impressive Kitzbühel mountains between Hahnenkamm and Kitzbüheler Horn forms the spectacular backdrop. In addition a programme with a mix from classical opera arias and well-known international songs, which has to offer both for expert opera fans, as well as for beginners much.

For Elīna Garanča, “Classic in the Alps” is something very special year after year: the interaction between nature, the enthusiastic audience and wonderful music makes the evening an unforgettable experience for both artists and spectators.

For many years, Elīna Garanča and Karel Mark Chichon encourage young, emerging talents of the opera world who are performing in the course of “Classic in the Alps”. It was not unusual for these performances to be followed by the start of an international career.
