Pause 2026

After many successful and atmospheric years, Klassik in den Alpen will take a break in 2026. Due to the long-term planning periods of the artists and the resulting scheduling conflicts, it is unfortunately not possible to hold the event next year. However, our team is already working on a return in summer 2027, when we will enjoy an unforgettable evening of music with Elīna Garanča in Kitzbühel.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the city of Kitzbühel, Kitzbühel Tourism and all the sponsors who had confirmed their support for the 2026 concert.

We look forward to seeing you again at Schloss Kaps in summer 2027!

Kitzbühel Klassik

at Kitzbühel's city park

Kitzbühel Klassik will once again be very high-class this year: Members of the internationally renowned opera studio of the Vienna Volksoper will be heard for the first time at ‘Kitzbühel Klassik’ on the stage at Kitzbühel's Stadtpark. Dr Viktoria Veider-Walser, Managing Director of Kitzbühel Tourismus, explains the special nature of the project: ‘Kitzbühel Klassik unites our wonderful natural landscape with the future opera stars. A unique and indeed unconventional combination that has met great approval. Together with Kammersängerin Elīna Garančas ZukunftsStimmen and with this year's support from the Vienna Volksoper, we are delighted to present a high-class programme with free admission in the heart of Kitzbühel's town centre.’ As part of the ‘Kitzbühel Klassik’ theme week, the best young singers will be performing on three evenings from Wednesday 3 July, ahead of the big gala concert on Saturday. The performances will take place free of charge in the romantic setting of Kitzbühel's Stadtpark.
